Approximately 95 million people across the globe speak German as their first language, with another 25 million as second language. On top of that, 100 million also have German as part of their further language set, so the potential is there to reach out to close to 220 million people fluent in the language with the right German voice talent.

German is spoken the world over, too. The only official language of Germany and Austria, it’s also an official language of Switzerland. German is also widely spoken in places that may surprise you, including Argentina, Australia, Chile, Greece, Namibia, Russia, the United States of America and many, many other countries.

People are looking to reach out to those German markets (not only in Germany itself but also German-speaking communities beyond Berlin) in creative ways; and they stand a much better chance of doing so by working closely with a German voice over specialist that can attract their target market’s attention almost instantly.

I recently had a Corporate video translated from English to Chinese and Japanese. The voice over's for each language were done by Whisper Audio. I am based in South Africa. I emailed the scripts to Simon and about 5 days later I downloaded the WAV file containing the Chinese and Japanese audio that fitted perfectly into the English edit. The process was painless, everything happened according to plan and the results were excellent. My client is a very large multinational. I am happy, the client is happy and I'd highly recommend Whisper Audio/Voice Talent Online.

Amazing company that provides very fast and high quality services. Very pleased with services we have been provided. After checking similar companies I decided to use Voice Talent Online as their prices were way cheaper than the prices of their competitors however, it doesn't mean that the quality of their services is worse. Will definitely use them again in the future. Thank you.

Did you know that there are seven recognizable types of German dialect, but that ‘Standard German’ (Standarddeutschand)’ also known as ‘High German’ (Hochdeutsch) is the international broadcast standard? Taking our guidance on German voice talent can help you to choose the right dialect and approach when you want to reach out to German speakers with your content, and help them better identify with what you have to say to them.

Being able to identify the German narrator’s dialect best suited for your audience could be the difference between somebody ignoring or engaging with your message.
